Enhancing Usability

My name is Blaine Ehrhart aka Blade and BladeSling. I am 20 years of age and I have been making websites for just over ten years now. Age does not matter, experience and knowledge is key.

I am knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL (Oracle and MySQL), JavaScript, Ajax, and SEO. I have also mentored many new programmers in the intricacies of web development.

I build websites with accessibility, usability and functionality. I use CSS and HTML to keep the content clean of unnecessary design elements, and JavaScript for GUI enhancements where it is possible.

I also go by BladeSling, Blade and MrBeatbox. I am the proud owner of several websites.

Dojo Demos

My Dojo Demos are part of the new BladeSling.com. Fun little applications that improve user interaction and interest in my website. The Dojo Fish Tank project was put together to show the power of animation control in the dojo toolkit. The other demo doesn't have a cool name to it, but it is part of my new upcoming portfolio. It features even more dojo animation coupled with some trig that I learned last year. This application sorts images into groups and allows the user to interact with them in a new and unique way. This application is not yet completed.

A Strangers Diary

A Strangers Diary is a brand new addition to my portfolio (and maybe soon my income). This website is for completely anonymous submission of your personal life for everyone to read. I know, creepy, but I think people will dig the nature of snooping around personal diaries. The graphic design was done by Waynard Schmidt, a partner in the website.
